UT 1.5is compatible with 1/16” (1.5mm) uncoated steel cable. For use with a static load that has a relatively constant position and magnitude over time, the safe working load is80磅(36.3kg). Therecommended cable configurationfor use with the UrbanTrapeze is 7×7 galvanized,uncoated steel cable. The use of powder or vinyl coated cable are not advised as the safe working load will be greatly reduced.

A WORD ABOUT STEEL CABLE SAFE WORKING LOADS

As you determine the safe working load of steel cable for your project, consider factors including end-use of the product, environment, type of load being applied to the cable and the wire cable minimum break strength.

鋼絲繩不應在其評分中使用Minimum Breaking Strength. A safety factor must be applied before installation, based on several factors including whether the installed product has a static or a dynamic load. The safety factor for either model of the UrbanTrapeze is 7:1 for a static load and 10:1 for a dynamic load.

Steel cable is available in1/16 inch(1.5mm) or1/8 inch(3mm) diameters in 100, 250, 500 and 1000 ft. spools.
